About Arkle IT

When I started working in the world of IT, way back in 1986, new technology included the Atari 1040STF, BBC Master 128 and Amstrad PC1512 with RAM sizes mostly in kilobytes rather than the gigabytes people are used to today. I worked for various companies as technology moved along with PC compatible machines taking most of the market and something called “the Internet” taking off. In 2006 I became self-employed and set up Arkle IT. After providing computer support services to home and small business users in Penicuik for several years, I moved to High Valleyfield in 2023 so am now providing similar services for people in the West Fife villages areas.
